iPhone Apps
It’s been a week and a half since Apple introduced the iPhone App Store. It’s amazing how addictive it is installing apps on the phone. And there are plenty of free apps for those of is on a budget. So, I thought I’d introduce you to a cuple of the apps that I’ve found and really enjoyed.
The number one app that I’ve been playing with lately is Quordy. It’s a Boggle clone where it fives you 16 letters in a 4×4 grid and you have 2 minutes to find as many words as possible. It’s great for those spare moments when you have nothing else to do.
The other app I’ve been trying out is Twinkle, a Twitter app that has location awareness. I like the idea of being able to Twitter on the go, and the ability to tag tweets with my location is nice. Unlike other apps, Twinkle only lists the city that you’re in, not the street address, so stalkers can’t follow you. But I’ve been having issues with it not updating. And, it seems that half the people I’m following using Twinkle don’t show up when I use other Twitter clients. Kinda defeats the purpose.
I have more apps installed, and I’ll be sharing them in the future as I find good ones. And if you have any favorite apps for your iPhone, let me know in the comments. I’m always on the lookout for new things.
