Rebekah Sleeping I

This weekend, Karin and I decided it was time to get some pictures of Rebekah. After all, she is almost 3 weeks old with no formal pictures yet. Besides, she looked so cute in her Sunday dress, how could we not get some pictures. With a dad whose a photography buff, you don’t just get snapshots either. You get the full on supermodel treatment.

Two Sisters I

So, out came the black sheets, light stands, tripods, flashes, reflectors and other assorted photographic equipment. With everything setup and a soft place for Rebekah to lay, I put her on the table and started shooting. She curled up into one of those adorable baby poses that you always see. After a few dozen pictures, it was time to expand the cast. I was able to talk Bethany into getting her picture taken with her baby sister, but she wasn’t too keen on taking directions from Dad. She lasted maybe 10 minutes before she got bored and was ready to get back to fighting playing with her brother.

Brother and Sister Napping

Of course, that was interrupted because it was Christopher’s turn to get pictures with his little sister. He is quite the model and was more than happy to spend time laying next to Rebekah getting his picture taken. He stuck it out for almost 30 minutes, including attempts to get good pictures of all three kids. Those didn’t work out so well since it took 10 minutes to coerce Bethany into getting back on the table.

After about an hour of picture taking, I finally headed into the computer to sort through them all. What I ended up with was about a dozen different photos capturing Rebekah’s cuteness and her brother and sister’s love. I hope you all enjoy.
