Fall 2007
Happy Autumn to all!
As of 2:51AM PDT today, Fall officially started. But the weather here in Seattle decided to get a jump on the change in seasons. It’s been cool and wet the last couple weeks. Typical autumn weather for an atypical summer. With the change in temps and the shortening days, there is less daylight for the kids to spend outside playing. But they certainly are trying to make the most of it.
With the extra inside time, the new baby arriving soon, and a bit of frustration about not getting any time for my hobbies, I finally pulled the portable photo studio out and dragged everything out of the dining room.
Took a few pictures of Opa yesterday afternoon. He’s looking good since his surgery. Can’t tell anything happened. Especially with his shirt buttoned all the way up.
Sunday afternoon, I took the opportunity to shoot some pictures of the rest of the family. And in the process, was finally able to work out a technique I mentioned a few weeks ago on single flash backlighting. As you can see on the pictures of Karin, it came out very well once I figured it out.
Enjoy the pictures!
