Visiting the GrandKids: Highlights
Karin’s parents came to visit back in July.
Back in July, Karin’s parents flew in for a visit to see us, the grandkids, and the city. This was there vacation for the summer. Not to be confused with the trip they are planning in October, which is so they can come see the new baby.
While they were here, we took them to see the sites around the area: Pike’s Place Market, Mount Rainier, Fireworks at Fort Lewis, the Space Needle, and Point Defiance Zoo.
We had a great time with them here. The kids loved having GrandMom and GrandDad here to visit. Christopher even gave up his bedroom so they would have a place to sleep. But the price might have been more than they bargained for. In exchange for the bedroom, the kids forced them to walk the neighborhood with them almost every day. A difficult feat for GrandMom with her bad knees.
Stay tuned for more details on what we did while they were here.
