Urgent Prayer Request
I want to ask all of you out there that read this blog to pray for my father. He had a heart attack Sunday afternoon and is in ICU at UW Medical Center in Seattle. He’s awake and doing okay, but he’s going to be having heart bypass surgery on Thursday.
I’ll post more details on what happened and what is going on later. But, in the meantime, please pass this prayer request on to everyone you know.

John C, your extended family is praying for your dad and we have asked our church and friends to also pray for complete success with the upcoming surgery.

Dear John C.,
So shocked at the news, but relieved that he is awake and well. We don’t always know the reasons why things happen, but we do know that we are loved by Him.
Tell your father that he is my thoughts and prayers. He’s a good man. He has inspired me so many times during many rough spots in my life. I’m here praying!

John, Linda & all the chilluns…
Know that prayers are being lifted from Alabama as I type. We’re thankful there is a great medical facility there in Seattle and expect the Great Physician to guide the hands of his “medical assistants” as they minister to John. Be aware that there are also angels ministering to those who go to the Father in prayer. (read the account of Jesus in Gethsemane!) Keep us posted.
