Surgery Report
A quick update before bed on Opa’s surgery. He got out of surgery/recovery and into ICU about 6:30. He’s doing well. They ended up only doing a single bypass instead of a double. The second blockage they were going to work on was in a vein that was too small to work on. When we left this evening, he was down to just 3 IV drip bags instead of 8. They are expecting to take him off the ventilator sometime over night.
Doug made it in today and we went to the hospital this evening so that he could see his dad. Oma and he will be heading over there tomorrow morning. Karin and I will head up tomorrow afternoon.

We are so thankful for the good news…we continue to trust God in all things and pray for John’s speedy recovery.
