Post Op - Day 5
Today was the day that Oma and Opa have been waiting for–the day they get to go home. Oma called about 10AM to say that the doctor had cleared Opa to go home. Finally, about 3PM we finally made it out of the hospital and started on our way home.
The trip home took nearly 2 hours as President Bush is in town today and that backed up the highways. We finally got home around quarter to 5. Oma and Opa headed into their house to reacquaint themselves with their house.
Opa is feeling okay. Just glad to be home.

Yeah! Now he can really relax and get the needed rest without the bother of the nurses.;) So greatful that he is on the road to recovery.
