Post Op - Day 4
Opa is doing very well. He’s been making laps of the ward with regularity. Oma says that he is back to his old self and is ready to go home.
We haven’t heard anything yet on whether they are going to let him go home tomorrow, but we’re all working on the assumption that they will discharge him on Monday. This means that Monday will be a very busy day with taking Doug to the airport, taking Opa home, and Karin going to her doctor’s appointment.
Doug and I carried one of our glider rockers down to Oma and Opa’s house this afternoon. Everyone agrees that the glider will be easier for Opa to get in and out of. The next challenge will be teaching the kids to stop pulling on people’s arms.
Once again, thanks for the continued prayers.
