Governments That Govern Least?

Our government seems to be going to hell in a handbasket lately. First the Patriot Act. Then the CIA undercover agent scandal. Then the domestic spying program. Not to mention Guantanamo. To top this all off, Slate has an article up relating to the recent firing of 8 US Attorneys and the secret law that made it possible.

With things like this coming out of the White House you’ve got to wonder how in the world the Republicans can possibly hope to keep the White House in 2008. But then, from what’s been happening with the current president, maybe a change of power isn’t all bad. Anybody want to propose a 4 year term limit for President?
