Happy 4th of July, everyone!

We enjoyed our long holiday weekend out here in Washington. Saturday was spent down in Tacoma at the Tall Ships festival. They had 30 sailing ships in town for the holiday weekend ranging in size from small 20-30 foot boats to over 300 foot long and 160 feet high. We had a great time and made it on board 4 of the vessels.

I managed to snap a few pictures of the boats and the kids in between carrying them and holding their hands.

Monday was spent at the house. We spent the evening watching a movie, then flipped over to watch the fireworks on TV. It was almost like being there what with all the neighbors shooting off their fireworks.
