One Step Closer to the Dream
History was made this morning when SpaceShipOne soared into space for the second time in just a week. The flight marked the end of years of research, design, and testing. And it marks the end of the hunt for the X-Prize.
By completing 2 suborbital flights in less than 2 weeks, Scaled Composites won the $10 million prize as the first commercial company to put a manned spaceship into space.

Not quite yet. I figure I’ll let them make a couple more test runs before I plunk down my deposit.
