All Cleaned Up and Ready To Sell
This week, we made our last trips up to the condo to finish cleaning it up. Saturday, we all went up and finished touching up paint on the walls and the cabinets. Monday, Karin, Mom and Bethany went up to wait for the Salvation Army truck to arrive and remove the entertainment center and other donated items. The moving guys for the SA didn’t seem like the brightest movers ever seen. They managed to break the entertainment center in to in their effort to get it out the door and on the truck. Having succeeded in breaking it, they immediately asked if we were sure we didn’t want to keep it. Right, we want to keep a broken piece of furniture. Sorry guys, it’s yours.
So, now that everything is cleaned up, its time to start looking for a buyer. We do have one gentleman who has expressed interest in buying the place from us directly. Just need to call him and set up a time to let him see the place. It would be nice if we could sell it directly. Avoid the realtor costs and have more money to put down on the next place. We’ll see how things go. I’d like to show it to him this weekend so that we can get the ball rolling. We’ll see what happens.
