Bethany’s First Road Trip - Day 7
Day 7, the end of the line. Bethany, Karin, and Mom arrived in Tacoma today. They walked in the front door of the office about 1PM and we all headed out for lunch to celebrate their safe arrival.
Bethany was funny. At first she wasn’t sure about coming to me. Guess she had to remember who I was. But once she did, she wanted to be held. Then she wanted to get down and crawl around and pull up on things and just have a good time. I think she’s glad to be back with her dad.
Karin and mom are also glad to be home. We gave them keys and directions to the house, and they managed to make it there without getting lost. They have started applying their feminine touch to the house: rearranging things in the kitchen, and figuring out where all the stuff should go. It’s great to have them back.
Hope you all enjoyed the day by day updates on the trip. None of us is planning on making another one anytime soon, so you better get the most out of this one you can.
