The Scourge of Camera Phones

Camera phones are evil!!

There, no that’s out of the way. I got a new cellphone last night. Added my dad to our family plan and gave him my old cell phone. My new one is a Sony Ericsson T637. It includes Bluetooth, Infrared, and a camera.

The Bluetooth is cool. I synced it up with my laptop this morning when I got to work. Ended up completely recreating my phone book on the phone, but it wasn’t too bad. Still need to go through and check it for duplicates.

I’ve messed with the infrared a little bit, sending things to the phone from my palm. Not sure how useful it will actually be.

The final feature of the phone is the camera. I haven’t been a big fan of cameras on cell phones, but now that I’ve got one, I guess I’ll see how it works out. I’m not planning on abandoning the big one, but this is certainly easier to take with you.

All in all, I’m very pleased with the new phone so far. We’ll see if it lasts.
