2 Weeks and Counting

Bethany is now 2 weeks and 4 days old, and she seems to be doing just fine. She still spends most of her time sleeping, but I’ve been told that’s normal for a baby this age.

I’m still waiting for her to start recognizing her name. It is just so weird interacting with someone who doesn’t know their name. You call her by name, and she just stares blankly at the wall as if you didn’t say a word. Anyone know when she’ll start to figure out who she is?

After much “encouragement” from grandparents and friends, I have posted a few new pics. It’s hard to work full time, care for a baby, and still find time to take pictures. I’ll try to get pics posted more frequently, but don’t hold your breath.
