Look out Diet, Here I Come…

Well, I took Karin in for her Glucose Tolerance Test on Tuesday, and based on the results, I get to go on a diet. Well, actually, Karin is getting put on the diet, but that means that I go on one by extension.

Failing the test means that she’s got Gestational Diabetes. So, she’s really got to watch what she eats, and she also has to check her blood sugar 5 times a day to make sure that it is staying under control. She’s not liking it so far, but we’ll see how things work out.

Since she can’t have very much sugar now, she bagged up all of the snacks and candy we had purchased last week for me to take in to the office. So, everyone there ought to be on a pretty good sugar buzz.

More updates on her condition and the babies as circumstances dictate.
