Finding Good Entertainment

In our continuing quest to watch as many first run movies in the theater as possible before the baby arrives in September, my wife and I headed out to the theater to see Finding Nemo. We were planning on catching the 7pm showing on Saturday, but the line was out the door and around the building when we got there. We decided we’d scratch that idea and got tickets for the 8pm showing instead. After a quick bite to eat at the Target snack bar (yeah, we’re cheap), we took our seats in the theater to enjoy the show.

Finding Nemo was a very enjoyable movie. The action was exciting, the jokes were funny, and the characters are very memorable. It definately has a lot to offer for both kids and adults. And I’m not ashamed to say that I went to see it even though I don’t have kids yet.

As usual, the graphics were terrific. Pixar has raised the bar yet again. The images are so real that you can almost feel the ocean pulsing against your skin. And they never miss a chance to have fun. Whether its the race through the jellyfish, or riding the EAC, the fun doesn’t stop.

This is a definite must see movie whether you have kids or not.

4 stars and a strong must buy rating when the DVD comes out.

What do you think? Vote in the poll and let me know!

Figured it would be good … same directory as Toy Story and A Bugs Life. Pixar does a great job in the animation area, sometimes I don’t think Disney would have a foot in animation if it was not for Mr. Jobs pushing that 3 movie deal back before Toy Story the original.
