A Change in the Weather
The weather finally settled down yesterday after a week of cold, wet, stormy days. After getting home from church, we met up with our friends, Ed & Renee, and took the dogs down to the off leash area to let them run, play, and wear themselves out. We had a good time, and Reneee got to fly her kite for a bit.
After getting home, Karin and I ended up outside talking with our neighbors. They eventually ordered pizza, and we all sat on the back porch eating and talking while their kids looked at Belldandy through the screen door. They’re so much braver when she can’t chase after them.
Finally cleaned up and headed inside about 8PM. Karin couldn’t believe it was already so late. Sunset comes really late up here during the summer. Come the end of June, it’ll probably be light until close to 10PM. Which will probably make getting to sleep tough.
