Going Overboard for Baby?

March 26th, 2003 | jchaager | kids

It seems that my mom is really exicted about becoming a Grandma. She’s taken it upon herself to start sewing and crocheting stuff for the baby. And that’s doesn’t include the stuff she’s already mailed us.

Has she gone overboard? You tell me.

Well … going overboard maybe, but I wouldn’t complain - it will only happen for the first :) And the style really matches your personality - very nice :)

True… One of these days, I’m going to get pictures of the rest of the stuff that’s been sent out for the baby. We already have a blanket or two, several pair of pajamas, and an outfit or two.

Grandchildren are a gift from God. To love and help formulate these extentions of ourselves is an exciting and blessed adventure. There’s a saying that “If we would have had our grandchildren first, we would have done a better job raising our children.”

‘Tis true. There can only be one first grand child. We’ll love them all. We love you both.
